Fun day planned.

I'm taking the day off work today and have a good day planned.

First I'm going to the "Y" to workout a bit and then swim with sis Marsha...she's an exercise champ and I can't even begin to keep up with her yet...but hopefully I'll get there before too long. Then we're going to get pedicures and then to lunch.

Then around 1pm I plan to get home to Andy and some more work in the basement. He's been working like crazy getting all of it done and he's almost there. He only has a couple more pieces of trim to put on and a bit more furniture to move down there. We're going to make the two rooms we re-decorated into a family room and an exercise/game/puzzle room. We also changed the den upstairs into a bedroom.

Now I need to buy a new TV for the upstairs bedroom since the entertainment center and TV from the den were moved down to the family room. And I also need to get a new computer and printer for upstairs. My old one will be put downstairs. It's so old and messed up, it won't even be attached to the internet. We're just saving it because of all the old files. I hate to transfer them to a new computer due to worry about viruses and bugs. But I have so many photos and recipes and stuff I want to keep, I'll just use the old computer to print things from and to store my old files. We also need a couple of comfy chairs for downstairs. We plan to spend time down there occasionally. Andy likes to do jigsaw puzzles in the winter and we're setting up a table for him to work at. It will also be where I paint my pictures and do my artwork. I'll sit down there and paint, workout or read a book while he's puzzling.

Speaking of artwork, I just signed up for a couple of art classes. They are sort of a beginner classes, and I'm not a beginner, but I feel I need some brush-up on the basics and that's what this class is all about....basics! It's a part one and two and will run from Nov. 3 - Nov 24 and Dec 1 - Dec 22. I'm looking forward to taking them! I picked up all the art supplies I need at Hobby Lobby last time I was there. I'm also considering taking a night class of watercolor painting. I have a hard time with that medium and have been working on learning more about it. I just might take this class...I have to make my mind up soon...it starts Nov. 4th!
