Well, it starts today

My real work year. This is the first full week of school. We had meetings the first two days last week, so now the grind begins.

I'm trying to cut back a little bit on the pop I drink. It's just not good for you, even if it's diet. Drinking more water is a good thing, so I'm trying to do that. They don't sell pop at work anymore but now they sell bottles of water. So that works out! But I'm not quite sure why they have bottled water for sale but if you bring your own sipper bottle you can fill it at the water cooler for free? Someone didn't think that thru very well.

We had a good time with Andy's son Doug, but he was here only from Saturday about 1:30pm until Sunday at 9:30am. It was a 7 hour trip one way! Plus whatever time it takes for him to stop for breaks along the way. It's been a long time since we've seen him and I know Andy and Doug were both very glad to see each other. They had nice long visits and got caught up. They talk on the phone a lot but being together is far better. Someone asked what I cooked while he was here. I made banana bread and had Beef in a Leaf planned for supper Saturday night, but the guys wanted to make it easy, so they went and got Mexican carry-out. Then Doug didn't want breakfast Sunday morning, so I just packed him a lunch to go and that was just some banana bread, a turkey sandwich and a jug of iced tea.

Well, I'm off to work. Have a great day everyone.

  3. I always like to throw a green tea bag in my water bottle just to give it a little flavor.

For some reason I have "the Wheels on the Bus" song going through my mind.

    Take care Ginni!
