I love yellow roses, but I'm not from Texas!

A dear friend of mine who lives in Texas, enabled me into planting this gorgeous rose. It's called St. Patrick and it's a wonderful plant! It blooms all the time and the blooms are full and show-worthy! I took a few photos of some blooms I brought into the house yesterday. Here's one of them.

Thanks V, for your Texas outlook and for telling me about this great rose! The meaning of roses says that a yellow rose signifies joy and friendship! That's so appropriate!

Here's a link, if you're interested in the other rose colors and what they mean! It could be helpful around Valentine's Day. I mean after all, you'd hate to send the wrong message!

I hope you have lots of good friends and lots of yellow roses in your life!

Thought for the day...

"Won't you come into the garden? I would like my roses to see you."

  1. Hi Ginni - I'm just back from vacation and wanted to say hello. I love your yellow rose, and I can't wait to see your new garden bench. Hey - just think what a responsible citizen you were being, saving that beautiful headboard from going to the dump! What a waste that would have been!

    lovins!
