Fruit dip...my newest diety invention and an old fave

I went to a Survivor party tonight and was supposed to bring fruit. I decided to make fruit dip to go with the fresh fruit we took. It turned out to be quite good. I wasn't sure how it would work since I put fat-free cream cheese in it. I'm not crazy about f-f cream cheese, but many of the party-goers are dieting so I was ruthless.

Here's the recipe, if you can call it that. I just threw stuff in...

Ginni's Decadent But Diety Fruit Dip

1 package of fat-free cream cheese at room temp.
1 6 oz. container of fat-free lemon yogurt
1 6 oz. container of fat-free strawberry yogurt
1 tsp. good vanilla
6 packets Splenda

Blend together well, I used an immersion blender. Mix until smooth and creamy looking. Chill and serve with fresh apple slices, cantaloupe and honeydew melon chunks, grapes, strawberries and pineapple chunks.

My sister Marsha made some dynamite Sloppy Joe's. It was the kind our Mom used to make and they still taste wonderful. They were a huge hit!

Chicken Gumbo Joe's

1 - 1 1/2 lbs. browned ground beef loose meat
1 can Campbell's Chicken Gumbo soup

Cook ground beef until browned. Add the can of soup. Simmer together until all ingredients are hot. Serve on open faced buns.

YUM!!!

  1. SIX packets of Splenda?!?! =:0 LOL I'm sure it was devine. I have a fruit dip made with amaretto that is to die for. Not exactly "diet" tho. A Survivor party, eh? You guys are nuts - LOL.
