So here I am, titleless (isn't that a golf ball?).
I wish my chickens laid eggs like this! This was one of my last treats before the diet began.

That Amaryllis is growing and growing. It was almost too tall to take a photo of, but I did, I just hope it comes out alright. But it's still not blooming. It's starting to crack, the blooms are about to pop...but I still can't see what color it is. Here's the latest photo. I had to shore up the leaves with a couple of chop sticks, to use as little braces and a rubber band. They had flopped over. The stalk the flowers are on is almost twice as tall as the leaves now. We can almost see it growing. I hope it hurries up and blooms, already!

I joined Facebook and have hooked up with a bunch of my old high school classmates. It's kind of cool. Some of them I haven't seen since graduation a bazillion years ago.
Not much else to write about today. I'll be back soon.
Holy cow! A mutant choc egg, an amaryllis (If it starts screaming, "Feed me" like in LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS, run for the hills) that is taking over the Davis household, and Igor at her chemistry set making potions! All this is a quiet mid-western town...
ReplyDeleteAhahahaha Kathy. It IS all sort of scary isn't it?
ReplyDeleteMaybe I should write a book? "It was a cold, dark night in a little Mid-western town..."
Good luck on the diet!
ReplyDeleteYour amaryllis is healthy looking will be interesting to see it in flower.
Just stopping by to say hello. Your amaryllis looks like it's on steroids.
