Here it is...
1. What was the best present you've ever received?
The best was an English saddle from my DH...it wasn't a Christmas present but he gave it to me sometime in February. (Not Valentine's day) and it was the best present because it was a total surprise! I wanted one forever and we just couldn't afford it. I was so blown away, I cried for days after, every time I thought of it!! I haven't had horses for 8 or 9 years and I still have that saddle.
2. What was the worst?
It had to be a plastic rose bouquet that was in a plastic pot. It lit up. I won't say who I got it from!!
3. What is something you really want this year for yourself?
I really wanted my basement to be usable again. And a recliner to watch TV in...I already got it!!
4. What is something you really want this year for someone else?
I wanted Andy to have a recliner again so he could watch TV in comfort. He got it. There's a long sad story about why he doesn't have a recliner anymore. But anyway, we got each other recliners for Christmas a little early this year.
5. What's your favorite Christmas memory?
It's not just one time, but all the family Christmas's we've had with my family. There is so much family tradition that we all follow, but we change things up a bit every year too. And that's always fun. I have the best family...they are a blast!!

Please tell me the "worst" present was given to you by a kid. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for playing!
That is a bad worst present - beats mine.
ReplyDeleteBug hugs!
fiwa
I concur on me being a blast;)
ReplyDeleteWell now you've gone and left poor Santa with out a wish list...come on...there must be something ?
ReplyDeleteSo nice having a family you really, really love!
ReplyDeleteNo it was from an adult whose got a really bad sense of taste. She thought it was beautiful so I was grateful and told her I loved it. I wish I could find the photos I took of it. I'll look and see if I can find it.
ReplyDeleteAw Brad, Santa has many other lists to cover. He can do without mine. Besides, it's good to be happy with what I have. It's a nice feeling!! :)
I love your saddle story. And that's a beautiful nativity.
ReplyDeleteAn English saddle?!? Really?!? I would have never guessed. I sold my last horse at age 21 (mine - not the horse's) and I've never been on one since. But I'd never use an English saddle - no saddle horn. LOL!
