I never liked our gov very well to begin with. I've always thought he was the smarmy crook type. Now he's been arrested for trying to sell Obama's seat on the senate to the highest bidder. Illinois has had 3 (almost 4...but the 4th one was aquitted) governors who've gone to prison already since the early 1950's. Illinois is becoming the corruption captial of the US! And he wanted to run for president in 2016?? HA! Maybe president of the boys toys club in prison!!
Okay, okay, I know...innocent until proven guilty. But something tells me that's going to be an easy assignment.

ReplyDeleteI can't get his name, either! Let's just call him Blago. His NERVE astounds me. And as far as corruption goes, Maryland has had its share. Remember Spiro Agnew? Then there was Governor Mandel whose wife found out he was having an affair. She put him out of the Governor's Mansion. He had to live down the street. :)
