My blogging friend Cheryl used her number of blog posts...778... in her title yesterday and I thought it was cool to see how many posts she'd made. I figured she had me beat by at least half, but I've posted more than I thought! So since I seem to be doing a lot of plagiarism lately I figured I'd steal her idea! This is my 463rd post. Not too bad!
I went to a party last night. It's called "The Annual All Girl Pig Out Pajama Party"....I think I heard the hostess say it was the 22nd or 23rd year! All of my sisters went, in fact we all rode together. I was able to have a few drinks (Margaritas) since I didn't have to drive. I was tickled that my niece and a friend of hers also showed up. It was such a good time! There was karaoke, too too too much food, so many ladies, glamor shots with all sorts of hats and boas, a Mary Kay dealer, a Passion party lady (I'm not going to explain that, if you don't know), drinks abounding...Margaritas in one of those 10-gallon construction site coolers, and a really good time. But partying with my sisters is the best part...they were the most fun ones there!!
Today I'm going to finish putting up Christmas decorations, I hope! I have a couple errands to run around noon, but otherwise I'm tucking in and chilling! And that's about all we can do today, it's 2 degrees here right now!! I'm tired of cold weather already and wouldn't mind a green Christmas if it would just warm up!!
I'm not even in the running -- haven't been blogging all that long.
ReplyDeleteYour party sounds like a lot of fun. We were supposed to go to downtown Baltimore last night for dinner but because it was snowing, decided to stay a little closer to home. Then came home and sat by the fire. Lovely!
We do (kinda) that same thing with our November Birthdays party. But this sounds like so much more fun! Did you come in your jammies too? I would *love* to do one of these parties - but there's not enough women around here that I would like to "party" with (if you know what I mean). Now, if I could include my blogging buddies... THAT would be fun!!
