It's been cold here. It was 11 degrees here yesterday morning. I use my remote start to warm up my car before I leave for work. It is such a God-send! The older I get the more I hate the cold. I don't have a garage and in the winter, warming my car helps so much when I go out to clean snow, ice and frost off the windows so I can see to drive.
Leaving for work before it gets light out is such a pain! I love the warm months when it's bright and sunny outside at 6:30am instead of dark and cold. The remote start makes it so much easier.
I will get a garage built some day in the future. Hopefully!
When I lived in Fairbanks we had to plug the cars into an outlet at night to keep the engine blocks from freezing. Now I've got a great partner who'll start my car for me on cold mornings.

It's been cold enough here that my husband and I are talking about The Keys already! That usually doesn't happen until February. We went out this morning to a Christmas tree farm. It didn't feel like 35 degrees as registered by our car thermometer--but that was inside the garage. It was 22. At least it felt like Christmas!
