Tink Week...Wednesday's Report

Today I realized that I don't get to see very many people to do things for in a day. As hard as I looked and payed attention, I mostly only had traffic-related good deeds today.

I moved my school bus so another bus could get down a crowded one-way street when she got her kids before I got mine. It was difficult and I had to back into a side street, but I did it and I could see that she was very grateful.

I usually put my stop arm out when I pull up to one of my kids houses, but today I made sure all the cars were past before I put it out IF the kid wasn't on his/her way out. Kid safety comes before good deeds!

There were quite a few other things I did ...minor things really, but I was very conscious of being mindful of others and tried to be very considerate. Even little things like that made me feel good.

I did offer a co-worker a ride home tonight who usually walks the 6 blocks to his home. But someone who was going his way also offered him a ride...he went with them because it's out of my way. At least I offered!

Beautiful Fall Weather

I love this weather we've been having. It's been cool and sunny with big puffy gray and white clouds in the sky. And the sky is the most gorgeous shade of cerulean blue that you only see in the fall. The trees are just beginning to change color. The birds are chowing down on all the crab apples in my yard and seem very grateful for them.
