Well, we're off in a few minutes to see about getting a TV for the new upstairs bedroom. We took the old one down to our new family room. I've really been slacking today. I spent a good share of the late morning playing my Garfield Nintendo game and talking to Andy. I didn't see him almost all day yesterday.
I went to our family meeting, we have one once every two months, to decide which days the 5 of us are going to do dad-duty. Then went to a great Chinese restaurant for lunch. It's only a couple blocks from my sister's house and they have THE best food around. It was nice to get to sit and visit with all my siblings. We don't all seem to get together as much as we used to. Now that summer is over tho, that will most likely change.
After lunch I left my car with my car-savvy BIL and he did a radiator flush for me. While he was doing that, sis Marsha and I went to get haircuts (I put a pic in my profile) and we had a blast with our hairdresser. Marsha and I have both been going to Joyce for ages and she's the best in the area in my experience. We always have a good time because Joyce, Marsha and I all have about the same sense of humor and we laughed the entire time.
Well, I need to get chicken feed and a new TV, so I'm off and running. Hope your Sunday is cool.

ReplyDelete2. I grow roses, too. The year I had cancer almost all of them died. Isn't that weird? I now have 4 Knockouts -- the dark, dark pink and will probably buy more in the spring. They are gorgeous and still blooming. I have about 30 roses total.
3. Isn't it great to have people around that just make you laugh? My brothers and I get so silly and laugh so hard we can't catch our breaths!
4. I used to play golf. My short game is great, but I might as well put the ball in my mouth and spit it down the fairway; it would go farther.

I slept on a sleep number bed in chicago...OMG...bestsleep I've had in Years!! and w/o my Lovee too. ( don't tell him!) I wan one but the price tag is way too steep for me. (Pickle juice!!)
