Constant Comment

Constant Comment

It's a tea I loved as a kid. It has an orangey-clovey flavor and it's yummy. Best of all, it reminds me of my mom, it was her favorite! With the weather getting chilly again, it's time for me to start thinking of which kind of tea I want to drink in the morning. I've been drinking a cup of coffee when I get home from my first bus shift. I'm not a coffee drinker, never was. I usually need so much gunk in the coffee, it ends up loaded with calories.

Comment Constant

Do more comments on one's blog mean one is more popular than other bloggers? Is it like a high school thang? If that's the case, then what does it mean when you don't get many comments? I have taken the word verification off my blog. I know they are a pain in the butt ...who wants to mess with them!!! I Only had it because for a while I was getting lots of spam on here. I had been meaning to take it off but kept forgetting. Cheryl mentioned it and that reminded me to loose the WV!!

Anyway, I try to comment as often as possible on everyone's blogs that I faithfully read. But I have an off day once in a while. I just want to say that I truly appreciate those of you who take the time to comment. I don't always answer your comments in my blog, but I try to if there are specific questions. And just so you know, I feel really important and happy when you stop by, whether you comment or not!

  1. Constant Comment is still my favorite tea; I started drinking it as a kid too.

I'm glad you took off WV. I hate it.

  2. Have you ever seen Pioneer Woman's blog? She'll have as many as four THOUSAND comments!!!! Crazy. I usually don't comment on blogs that garner a lot of comments. (i.e. Cream Puffs in Venice or My Kitchen In Half Cups.) But if I really like the post, I'll email the person (if they're friends like Tanna and Ivonne are). To each his own, I guess.

I moderate my comments, which means that I get an email notification of a comment and I can choose to either publish or reject it. Keeps the spam down. However I don't think that would work so well if I got hundreds of comments. Guess I don't really have to worry about that though. LOL My site meter report gives me information as to how many people visit my blog and where they all come from. Interesting.

And, as for the people who don't like CAPTCHA's... well... you get a spam bot attack once and you'll rethink your position on them. Trust me.

  3. I can't remember the last time I had a cup of constant comment. Isn't it a funny name? You know what it reminds me of - remember drinking tang and instant tea mixed together as a hot drink? Did you ever do that? Mmm... it's making me want some.

Who can really say about the comments. I have noticed that some people seem to comment after THEY have posted. And some people seem to comment after you've commented on their blog. I dunno. I try to comment every day, just to say. :)

    love you!

  4. It's too bad you have so much spam to deal with, Ginni.

Anyway, I used to like making iced tea with Constant Comment, but since my system prefers decaf now I don't drink it much.

  5. I usually have to make the choice to blog or read blogs. If I don't comment, I feel guilty writing. It's a balance act. When I go to Google Reader and see who updated, I can't just go to a few blogs. I want to read everyone's. I comment on most. I know how much it means to receive comments.

I hope the spam bots stay away from you. They've never bothered me. Thanks for removing the word verification!

  6. I love tea too. My current favorite is blood orange melange, which doesn't have any actual tea in it! (just different dried fruits and flowers) I get it online at specialteas.com but it may be available other places too.
