Since I don't have much time today and didn't want to forget to blog, here are a couple rose photos for Sis. She was asking about a good rose, with hardly any thorns, for an Illinois cottage garden and this is the one I recommended.
Oh, my! If mine bloomed like that (and stopped wanting to be 10ft tall) I'd want ten of them! They look just so luscious, Ginni. I think they like your cooler climate.
Fiwa, I'm not trying to enable you...really I'm not...heh..heh..heh
Ruth, sorry about your RdV! I love mine and it's been neglected for a long time. Just pruned back a bit (more like chopped) and it seems to just thrive. I think it likes it's semi-shady spot!

ReplyDeleteI love RdV, but mine is quite sick this year. (It's my own fault.)

Ginni, this is beautiful! I think it would be perfect for my friend! Thank you so much, sweetheart! And I'm laughing my head off at Fiwa...
ReplyDeleteXOXO
You guys...
ReplyDeleteI've already fallen off the wagon and have three roses on order from Vintage. Ugh.
Gosh - that last photo almost looks like a peony, doesn't it?
