tris·kai·dek·a·pho·bi·a (trĭs'kī-děk'ə-fō'bē-ə, trĭs'kĭ-) n. An abnormal fear of the number 13.
Well, let's make it a happy occasion!
Happy Friday the 13th!
I'm happy today because we had three tornado sirens last night and we're still here. We got 4" of rain in probably 6 hours and we are still here. In light of all the deadly tornadoes that have happened in the Midwest in recent days, that makes me damned happy that we're still here!!
So instead of being afraid today, I'm just mainly thankful! So far! Haha

I hope you have a lovely Friday the 13th! Let's count our blessings today!
P.S. I forgot to ID these roses...and I forgot that there may be people who visit that would want to know. Thanks Ruth! ;-)
Who are these lovely blooms?
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, BTW.
So purty. I especially love that first picture. I'm jealous because everything in your garden looks so neat and orderly. Mine is sprawling over everywhere from all the rain we've been having.
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday the 13th! I'm going to see the new M. Night Shyamalan movie tonight!
lovins,
fiwa
I feel like fiwa's pesky little brother, always following her around.
ReplyDeleteThe rose are wonderful - sadly mine got shreaded in the wind storm the other day.
You give me garden envy !
i'm w/ Brad...you give me garden envy too :)
ReplyDeleteI love your pictures...your thumb is a lovely shade of green I'm sure. :)
If only I could smell your blog. *Sigh*
ReplyDeleteRuth, I hope you noticed that I went back and ID'd the roses. My bad!
ReplyDeleteOooo Fiwa, I can't wait to see that movie!! I have that on my list. My garden photos specifically avoid any trouble spots...(read: messy spots!)
Brad, don't be envious...I should take a pic of some of my weeds and you will know that my garden photos are by design. In fact, if you look at the walkway in that first pic, you will see little piles of weeds...I hadn't picked them up yet. LOL Does that make you feel better? I sure hope so! BTW, I'm so glad you visit and I'm sure Fiwa doesn't mind you following her...LOL
TT, I have a brown thumb, it's just that Mother Nature cuts me some slack sometimes!
Tink you crack me up... smell-a-blog! It could be a new innovation! You'd love the scent of that purple rose, it smells like cloves...ummmmmm!!
Wait, wait! These are roses blooming right now? As in today? I love those yummy Jubilee buds.
ReplyDeleteYep Anne, they are blooming today!! I'm so thrilled to have roses finally. It seemed like they were never going to happen. It was almost worth the long winters wait. The roses are fabulous this year!
