I've been trying to devise a way to "hide" all my electronics. Right now, sitting on many surfaces around the house and plugged in so they can be charged are 2 laptops, 2 cell phones, a Nintendo DS, a portable DVD player, a bluetooth, an electronic keyboard and on and on. I'm thinking of a nice tall dark wood cupboard with lots of shelves that would look good in either the bedroom or the living room, situated in front of a wall plug, with a hole punched out the back for the cords. If I have a couple of power bars, I could get all of them plugged into one outlet. What do you do with all of your rechargeable electronics?
I felt so stooopid today. I got an order from Amazon dot com and in it was a UV filter for one of my camera lenses. I ordered it because when I got my new camera lens a while back (a Canon EF 50mm 1:1:8 II prime lens) I suddenly didn't have enough filter/protectors for all my lenses. I checked the size of my other lenses and ordered accordingly. DUH! The problem was that I checked my OTHER lenses for size...NOT the new one.
The new one is 52mm and the other two I have are 58mm. So I ordered a 58mm filter. I'll keep it, you never know when one will get broken or scratched, but now I still have no filter for my new lens. I'm on that one and will get it ordered. Good grief, will this online shopping ever end?? (heh...heh...heh)
I love my Peeps!
I love 'em so much, but I can't keep them around to get photographs. No, not THAT kind of Peeps, this kinda Peeps!

I only have one that has managed to stay around for over a year. My sister Marsha gave me this last year for Easter. She loves Peeps too and said this was a "diet Peep". Yeah, it wouldn't taste too good, what with all the beans, fuzz and cloth. And you could choke on that tag. (These are all things I tell myself!!)

I really do love this time of year. But all you Peeps out there better watch out. It could be a grim ending for you. First your package will be opened, then you'll be left to sit until you get all dried out (if I can wait that long...usually I accomplish this by brushing my teeth at night, flossing, THEN opening the package of Peeps! Leaving then to dry out over night!) and then you'll be mercilessly devoured by a human who's been Peep-deprived for a whole year...with your little Peep-heads being unceremoniously flung to the dog. Oh and the only Peeps in danger are the pink and the yellow chicks. I don't DO lavender or green OR bunnies...they're for sissies!
BTW, all you Reece's Peanut Butter Eggs better look out too!
Ahem, my diet starts NEXT week!
better git your pawz off the peanut butter eggs missy, those be MINE!
ReplyDeleteThat's funny - for me the week has draaaaaged. I'm so glad it's finally Friday!

ReplyDeleteGinni - you can keep the dang ol' peeps - they make me gag, lol...
BTW - the letter is up!
XOXO
I used to be too frugal to buy the Reeces eggs my daughter loves. Why buy eggs when the regular ones taste the same but cost less? Bad mom! Now I buy the Reeces hearts, eggs, christmas shapes, etc... I've never been a Peeps girl though. Am I missing out?
