Happyt Easter and it's GTS

I hope you have a glorious Easter.

Our Easter is rather quiet and nice. I was a bit upset to find out that it snowed in the night. Here's what the garden looked like yesterday afternoon. It's still very raggedy and has had NO care yet. The snow had just finished melting off from a long hard winter.

Then this is what we woke up to this morning and these are my Green Thumb Sunday pix.

ACK!! Oh well, it's not all bad...the temp is 37° right now and climbing! That snow doesn't stand a chance!!

  1. Happy Easter to you !

I've been standing on the porch this morning looking at the dregs that is the garden right now wondering where to start.

Today is a day of renewal so I suppose that's nature way of tell me to go get the turning fork and work in last falls mulch. Lovely.

Hope you have a great peacefull, day.

  3. Seems like a lot of GTS'ers had snow overnight or during the day. At least yours should melt off soon.

I'm still waiting for ours to go away and it's the snow from the big storm we had two weeks ago. I think it will be a while before ours are gone as it's still quite cool here.

Lovely lilies! I bet you're looking forward to seeing them again soon.

  4. Happy Easter--a bit late--but still Easter. It's hard to imagine snow--today our temperature was close to 90 degrees! But--you'll have a glorious spring and we'll be getting 100+ days!

  7. Those lilies are beauuuuutiful! Do you really grow those in your yard? I wonder if the Florida sun would fry them. I'm going to start planting soon, before Hoop fills the beds with flowerless things. ;)
