GTS...The Faery Garden

A few years ago I decided to make a faery garden and decided to show you the photos of it for GTS this week.

I got a wooden tray, lined it with saran wrap and filled it with dirt. I love anything miniature and had fun finding all the accessories at the hobby store to go with my tiny garden. Since many of the accessories were unfinished wood, I had to paint and decorate them. I planted some succulents like tiny hen & chicks and sedum, tiny mini-roses, and some creeping phlox. I added a few small stones to make the paths... here's the end product.

We enjoyed this little garden all that summer...but if you do this, DON'T use a wooden tray...it came all unglued and fell apart by the end of the summer. Use something metal or ceramic with drainage holes!

Absolutely darling, Ginni! I just took apart my mini garden this weekend. It's hard to find plants that stay small!
