Easy work day today. Love it!

I had one of those really easy days at work. I was so glad. Sometimes you just need a break and seem to get it just in the nick of time.

Vitamins.

I started taking them yesterday. I already forgot to take them today. Hahaha Go figure. I'll just take 'em late. I'm taking them and started with glucosamine/chondroitin. I've been having trouble with my post-car wreck knee every time the weather gets bad...which these days seems like every freakin' day. I thought maybe it would help with the aches and pains. I used to take it and it solved quite a few other issues with this bad knee of mine. I used to sound like a door in an old horror movie (creeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaak) or a dragon crunching on the bones of the slow when ever I'd go up stairs. My knee was almost embarrassing it made so much noise. It doesn't do that anymore. So I'm hoping the G/C works as well to solve this pain problem too. But in order for it to even have a chance to work, I HAVE TO TAKE IT!

Plans.

Well, the plans are all drawn out for our patio addition. It's going to give us a place to put our grill, the chimenea and some chairs and a table for grilling out in the summer. Andy has been very ambitiously planning a new veggie garden, this grill patio, and a few other projects in the garden for this summer. I'm glad. I just hope I can keep up with him!

Mineral Makeup.

I am so loving this stuff. I just got more of it in the mail today. eBay is a dangerous thing! I got 40 small samples of eye shadow really reasonably priced. I can use some of the colors for lip color or blush. (Not the blues tho...don't want to appear to be cyanotic). It goes really far and I have enough of it to share with my 3 sisters if they're interested in trying it. Now I just have to find some more jars. I would recommend this if you like light, easy, fast, makeup.

Old friends.

I ran into an old friend today...well she was more of an acquaintance. It was sort of sad. We said hi to each other, asked how we were each doing. Said fine. Then just sort of stood there. We had nothing to say. I finally broke the silence and just said it was nice to see her and that I had to get going. She looked relieved. I guess time goes on and we move on in life, eh?

Speaking of old friends, I'm finding out that our new mechanic at work and I have a lot of friends in common. We just can't seem to quit talking about our past and all the friends we know. It's so funny that he and I didn't know each other. Of course, he's quite a bit younger than I am so even if I did meet him in the past, I probably just shrugged him off as a "kid". He was even the best man at the wedding of one of my son's old girlfriends. It's such a small world.

Thought for the day...

"Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons for you are crunchy and good with ketchup."
