Monday, favorite artist day!

I'm sort of late with this post, but I just have a few minutes and thought I'd do it.

One of my very most favorite artists of all time is Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. His work is some of my favorite prints that I have in my house. I love the boldness, the bawdy subject matter and the fine lines. One of the highlights of my life was visiting the Art Institute Chicago in 1979 when the Toulouse-Lautrec exhibit was visiting there. Here are a few of my prints...

I got this one at a little art shop. I bought it for myself for Christmas one year.

I always loved the face on the lady in the right-center of this painting.

My son found this one in an old house that was about to be torn down.

Avril, one of H T-L's favorite dancers.
