Okay, now this is going to be difficult because I'm sort of boring. But here goes...
1.) I'm very materialistic. I love stuff, the more stuff the better! I'm a collector. When I get a new hobby, I go all out. And I have a bazillion hobbies!
2.) I love the water. I do everything from bathing in it, to drinking it. LOL That was a joke, but truly... I love everything about water and love snorkeling, Scuba diving (I'm not certified and have never gone very deep, but I love it just the same), swimming, sailing, all that jazz. I wept uncontrollably the first time I saw Caribbean blue water. (well, the 6 rum punches did have a little bit to do with it). I was born within sight of the Missouri River and have lived all my life near water...right now it's the mighty Mississippi.
3.) I'm terrified of heights. So much so, I freeze up if I somehow end up in a position of being up high. (Like having to climb a long staircase with the kind of stairs you can see thru) Funny thing tho, flying (in a plane) doesn't scare me but climbing a 6' step ladder totally freaks me out! Flying without a plane would scare me to death too. ;) I'm also really claustrophobic ...this is one reason I've never been certified to scuba dive and won't get into the backseat of a 2-door car! (Well, that's not the only reason I won't get into the backseat of a car...last time I did...well um...er... I won't go into that!) I won't even let my hairdresser snug that cape thingy up tight around my neck!
4.) I can shoe a horse, break a colt, build a fence, choreograph a line dance...gee...I shoulda been a cowboybabeeeee.
5.) I'm not afraid of snakes but lizards creep me out. Oh and I love pet rats.
6.) I used to smoke 2-3 packs of cigarettes a day. I quit 20+ yrs ago. When I quit they were 35¢ a pack and I couldn't believe the money I was going to save. HA! What are they now, $4 or $5 a pack?? Man, I should be rich!?
7.) I do believe in ghosts, I do believe in ghosts, I do I do I do believe in ghosts. I love Stephen King books, the TV show Ghost Hunters, spooky stuff trips my trigger. I also believe spirits (or angels, call them what you will) help us throughout our lives. Okay, now you know I'm whacked!
There...that was like giving birth! Well, not quite, but it's tough to think of things about yourself that not too many people know. I'm sure there are a lot more, but they most likely wouldn't be fit to print!

ReplyDeleteRegarding #7, Have you seen "Paranormal State" on A&E? I don't like it quite as much as ghost hunters, in fact I think they're TOO eager to go for a paranormal explanation, but I still like to watch it just to make fun of 'em.
Ok, I will do this, but I'm gonna wait till the end of next week to do it, coz I'm going out of town. Plus that will give me a couple of days to come up with 7 new things, coz I have done this one before. I like a challenge tho, and maybe I'll mix it up some.
