...and I'm proud to say that I've lost 20 lbs so far! I'm not perfect all the time (by any means!!) and I truly think that helps more than anything to keep my mindset right for dieting! If I'm perfect all the time, I would give it 3 months and I'd be done! This way it's more of a lifestyle and I can do it. I must live and enjoy my life!!! I had a couple pieces of Halloween candy last night and that's okay! I'm back on the horse today!
I've gotten so much support and encouragement from all my family and friends, and that's such a huge help!! The best news is that my blood work came back from the tests the doc took and things are looking very well, as far as the pre-diabetes is concerned! My A1C test indicated that my numbers went from 7.2% down to 6.8% and that's very good! Doc wants me at 6.5%! I can do that!
Thought for the day...
"Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influences of each. Let them be your only diet drink and botanical medicines."
Henry David Thoreau
you are stronger than i am, girl.
