Thanks to my sudden interest in waking up my sleeping brain, Andy bought us a Nintendo DS and a Brain Age game (and I use the word "game" a bit tentatively!) It's serious speed timed fun (?) and really gave me a run for my money! I did most of the puzzles at "car speed"...I did manage "train speed" once and also one sorry "bike speed". LOL
I am just not good at this stuff...my first time of checking out the "age" of my brain revealed that I have the brain power of an 80 year old! ACK! Of course, that was before I knew what I was supposed to actually do. When I got it figured out I tested my brain again and it said I had the brain of a person in their 50's! That's a bit better, since I'm actually a person in my 50's! Duh!
I rocked doing the Sudoku puzzles in the game tho. I have been practicing that, and their Sudoku's are much easier than the ones I've been doing lately!
This game was invented by a Japanese scientist and he has a little icon that "talks" to you on one of the screens. He explains what to do. Technology is amazing these days. Yep!
I sure hope I can wake my brain up ...the best score you can get is that the screen tells you your brain is in it's 20's. Gad, that was a long time ago! But there IS math involved.... math-on-the-hoof... fast, timed math... Ye gads!!!
Thought of the day...
"Do not worry about your difficulties in Mathematics. I can assure you mine are still greater."
Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
