Wow...how time flies!

I know you think I'm talking about how quickly this year has gone by. It really has, but actually I'm talking about the fact that I've got to go shopping for my third iPhone, tomorrow!

I tried to charge mine today and it wouldn't charge. So tonight I plugged it into the computer and it wouldn't charge there either, but it did sync up for me. Thank goodness! I would hate to lose the photos I've taken, the apps I've bought, the info I put into it, or any other stuff I've done with it since I last did a sync... about a bazillion months ago.

Yeah, the truth is out! I'm about as bad at sync'ing my phone as I am at blogging. I'm going to try to do better at both. Where better to start than here.

So tomorrow I'll go to the AT&T store and get a new phone. We have to go to the mall anyway to have my Christmas ring sized.

I dread learning all the nuances of a new piece of technology. I just about get the old one down pat and poof...here comes a new one to get the rust out of my old brain. Kind of like the Tinman in the Wizard of Oz.

New tech = oil can.

"Oil can..."

"Oil can what?"

Hopefully oil can keep that nasty devil dementia at bay. They say dementia is like rust...we just need to keep our minds well-oiled and we're protected from a rusty brain.

So, I'm going to oil my rusty brain tomorrow.

Maybe that's why AT&T makes these phones so they self-destruct after almost exactly two years. Coincidentally, just in time to make you sign a new contract. And just in time to make you oil your rusty brain.

Yeah, that's it...they do it for ME! How good of them!!

  3. LOL Kathy!! In my case, I could easily inherit demetia ...Dad has it, his Dad had it, my maternal Grandfather also had it...although come to think of it the women in my family, tend to not have it! Whew...maybe I don't need rustoleum after all!!

Sis, that's a good way out of having to know all this gobbledy-gook yourself....you're a smart girl!!

I did get the new phone...Andy got one too. He keeps asking me questions about it. Talk about the blind leading the blind. WOW!

  4. I'm glad you both got the new phone. I'm always surprised when I hear people got the 3G when there's the 4. You'll love it!! Isn't the resolution astounding?

I'm pretty sure I read that Alzheimer's is inherited from the women in the family. Whew.
