Today

I'm sort of on the run today. After work, I had to deliver a special gift to someone very special in my life and then get home because I have to look at my list. I'm a list-maker and have to do that or I'll forget to do something...and usually it's the most important things I forget!!

I have to take my car to the car place and pick out some tires, wheels and shocks/struts. I have a little extra money this month and will use it to fix up the things that need fixing on my car. The wheels aren't just for show...no spinners or anything like that... I have aluminum wheels now and they get little burrs on them and cause the tires to lose their seal. I'm constantly having to check for low tires! So I'm going to replace them with something a bit more sturdy. I also want to get some all-weather tires. I had to drive in lots of snow last year and think that's the way to go. A little preventive maintenance is a good thing. I don't have a car payment anymore so it's good to invest a little money to keep it running. I'd love to get another 100,000 miles on it!! It only has about 72,000 miles on it now. And it's in pretty good shape for a 2000 car.

I also have to go to the doc at noon. He wants to talk about my blood test I had last week. All was well but my blood sugar was a little bit high. Geez, once you go you have to keep going back! It seems to always be the case!!

I'm taking the day off work tomorrow and getting my car done. While it's in the shop, I'm going to see the new silly Chihuahua movie. I heard that is grossing quite a bit at the box office already! Of course, being the proud owner of a Chihuahua diva, I think it will be fun!

  2. Hope the doctor's visit goes well. And I'd love to know what you think of the movie. The commercials always make me think of Senorita Rosita.

  5. tt...it's a pouch and she love it. She has two and they were a snap to make. Just get a couple yards of fuzzy soft fabric and do the knots. Rosie loves to bury herself in her blankies!!
