I was reading blogs last night and loved this format in TT's blog! Since I'm suffering from poor typing (finger issues) this should be easier.
1.) I love Survivor. I don't care what people say about reality shows. I dig 'em! I also watch Amazing Race, Bachelor, Big Brother, Apprentice, Biggest Loser...yada yada.
2.) I love Halloween. I have decorations all over my house.
3.) I want to "adopt" a poor child in a 3rd world country. Well, I guess the correct word is "sponsor". And I think I will. But it's almost impossible to pick one after looking at over 1600 photos...they are all so sweet looking.
4.) Fall is one of my four favorite seasons.
5.) Having fresh eggs is such a blessing.
6.) I want to travel in the good ol' USA and will next summer. Hopefully!
7.) I love mineral makeup.
8.) Ever notice how badly people drive that are talking on cell phones?
9.) I truly love my dog.
10.) My finger hurts.
Gin - I'm worried about your finger, and the possibility of infection - don't let that get away from you, ok?

Gin, I love you. I'm so excited you're going to sponsor. I hope you let me know who you get? (If you can't decide, you can ask Compassion to just assign you a child from those who need a sponsor most.)

I had thought of that Ruth...having them assign a child. At first I was looking at kids with my son's name (Jonathan) and that wasn't a good way to sponsor. At least it didn't feel right to sponsor a child just because of his name. And some of the little girls just grabbed my heart! I plan to spend some time this weekend looking thru them again and seeing if I can find one.
ReplyDeleteI'm watching my finger closely and being very careful of infections...my biggest problem right now is banging it on EVERYTHING!!! I look like a dork, but I've been wearing a finger guard on it when I go out. It makes it look a whole lot worse than it is...LOL
