I show my art and my photos at 2 or 3 fairs every summer. I just got done producing the art and photos for the first one. I will show a lot of the same stuff at all the fairs I enter. So the first one is always the crazy busy one. I'm just relieved to be done with making all this creative stuff. It wears me out...but I do love entering the fairs. It's fun and can be kind of lucrative!
While I was slaving away over the sketch pad, Andy spent the last couple of days weeding in the flower beds! He's such a great guy!! It sure helps me because I feel guilty doing this fun stuff while my flowers are straining to get some sunlight from behind horrible weeds! As Andy said about one of the beds after he finished weeding it today, "You can actually SEE roses in the west bed now!"
It was kind of a cool night last night...it's 63° just after midnight. I love it when it's like this. We spent a little time together out on the deck just relaxing last evening. I just love the time we spend quietly on the deck, enjoying the garden and watching the birds. These are the times we'll look back at, with longing, this winter.
Well, there's not much else to say. I'm too tired to find string to put the tags on my fair entries and it's so late. I'm going to head for bed. Have a great Sunday!
Good luck at the fair(s) Ginni! Have fun!
ReplyDeleteHope you bring home lots of blues...

I know what you mean about time on the deck. We're making memories.
ReplyDeleteWhat is wrong with me. I haven't sat on the deck all summer. Maybe I'll go do that as soon as the Cubs finish losing. :-(
ReplyDeleteGinni, I hope you share some of your fair entries -- and may photos of the fairs!
ReplyDeletePictures please! I wanna see what your entering!!!
