...and that's okay, but the wind is blowing like crazy. It drives the rain right into your face and under your coat! It's been between 37° and 43° all day and just looks so gloomy and drab. I keep telling myself that this rain will bring my flowers that much closer to blooming and Spring that much closer to showing her pretty face! It's almost like we're getting March winds, of which we had none, and April showers, all at once. Friday night we're supposed to have rain turning into snow. So this could be worse.
I was hoping to get the chicks into the coop this weekend. Of course, I was picturing a lovely sunny Spring day in which to do it. Ha! Ma Nature has other plans in mind. So we'll see about the chick move.
If it rains this weekend and we can't get out in the yard, I plan to do my first Pysanky egg. I have been wanting to try it so bad, ever since I got all the supplies. I just haven't had time. Maybe a little rain this weekend would be a blessing. It sort of forces you to slow down and enjoy other things. I just have to try really hard NOT to stress out about not getting the yard work done on a timely basis.
Taxes are due next week and that is one thing I am doing this weekend, come hell or high water! Yeah, I'm like that lady in the commercial...the one who screams at the guy who simply asks her what time it is. Haha Yeah, I know I'm late with my taxes, I know what time it is! I know, I know!
I hope you're high and dry today!
It's just sort of spritzing rain here today. But it's gloomy looking.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with your taxes Mz. G
