Another busy day...

Chicks to feed...dad to call to check on him and be sure he took his morning pills...shopping to do...then cooking to do...then pick up dad...then a party to go to...then chicks to feed...maybe a little yard work in between all these other "to-do's". If it doesn't rain, that is. Whew, I almost hope it rains!

Did you know my Chihuahua, Rosie, can sing opera? I wish you could hear her!



We got all the roses in the inner garden pruned yesterday. We left the leaf mulch alone for the most part, since the temps are supposed to get down in the 20's this week. Spring? Hmmmm, I wonder! Killer frosts and it's almost May? I live in temp zone 5...and actually they say that means the average last frost could be as late as the last week in April or the first week in May. Okay, let's get it over with! I want to get my spring garden work done!
