Happy Super Bowl GTS!

Congrats Patriots and Giants fans! I hope your team wins. I'm getting in a football pool that I don't understand, but I'm just hoping the ones that are running the pool know enough about it to tell me when I win! ha

It's Sunday and that means GTS. Here are my offerings for today. Then I have to go make the food I'm taking to the SB party.

My little hyacinth bulbs are starting to send up flower shoots. In a little while I'll have flowers.

This has nothing to do with me having a green thumb, but they are lovely anyway. This was a grocery store bouquet of 6 doz. long stemmed red roses for $2.99!!! How could I pass that up??

Why three similar shots? Well, I wanted to play around with the new prime lens I got for my Digital Rebel XT a bit!

Have a great Super Bowl and if you drink don't drive home!!! Get a DD!

  1. Happy GTS to you too. $2.99 is well worth the price to bring some color into the house. Thanks to your camera I get to share your roses :)

  3. I may try to stay up for the Superbowl, but it doesn't usually get going much before 1am our time and although I like the game, the breaks for adverts get very wearing and as for the half-time 'entertainment'. . .

  4. So what lens did you get, Ginni? I asked my boss if I could have $1000 for a lens (I'm doing product photography) and he just stared, "For one lens?" Ha!

I deleted my old photography blog and started a new one...I have a post just with 50mm1.8 shots on it - check it out if you like! But, you've probably seen them all already, LOL!

  7. $2.99? Wow. They'll be ten times that in about a week. That's why I give my wife cacti for Valentine's Day. No one jacks up the price.
