I'm going to do
Odd Shots Monday again...I found a strange looking photo that I took a couple years ago of a hummingbird in my garden. It looks like she's IN the hummer feeder! But of course, she isn't, she's just on the other side daring other hummers to cross the line she drew in the dirt with her wing. Hummers are so territorial and protective when they are at a feeder. They don't want any other hummers within 100 yards of "their" feeder! If another hapless hummer comes anywhere near, the chase is on! I just happened to catch this little gal looking like she's protecting her feeder from the inside!

I have the day off work today because there's no school. It's President's Day and we still get that day off in Illinois, being the Land of Lincoln and all. Thanks Abe!
I'm not sure yet just how I'll spend my day of leisure, but I'm sure I'll find something to do!!
Hope you all have a leisurely day too.
