I love their chicken taco salad, but I tell them no chips ...they crush taco chips and put them between the chicken and the lettuce. I guess there's some reason for it, but I'd rather eat soggy lettuce than soggy corn chips! I also tell them to use white crumbly Mexican cheese (we used to call it "goat cheese") rather than that yellow grated American cheddar cheese.
I only owed about $1K on my car, so I paid it off the other day. It feels so good to have it paid for, but now I'm a tiny bit stressed that it will break down. You know that old saying about a vehicle going to hell in a hand-basket the minute you pay your last payment! Well, that's how I'm thinking. I'd love to be able to get another couple of years out of it and NOT have a car payment for a while! That would be heaven! And it sure is going to be nice having that money going into my checking account rather than on a car payment! It will be like I got a raise! My car only has about 69,000 miles on it, and even tho it's a 2000, it's got a while to go yet...hopefully!!
I had to get some Valentine things. I always give my bus kids some little thing as a gift on a special occasion. They've been so good thru all this bad weather, so I got them some cute little plastic cups that I'll fill with candy and hand out tomorrow as they get off the bus in the afternoon. They love stuff like that!
I got my sweetie a card, a couple jigsaw puzzles and a box of candy. I am also going to get him a masonry saw...he doesn't know that yet! I will have to get to one of the big hardware stores to find help in buying it. I know NOTHING about sawing bricks!!
Don't forget that tomorrow is Valentine's Day and you'll probably want to get something for your sweetheart, or maybe do something special for them. Oh and a pet peeve of mine is when people say "Happy ValentiMe's Day"! There's not an "M" in that entire phrase!
I found something cool in my front yard today....DIAMONDS!!! It's so sunny and the snow was sparkling. I took a photo of just the snow, nothing to give it scale or to anchor the photo. Just beautiful, sparkley diamond snow.

Have a great day!
I LOVE snow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bet it was beautiful there. We hardly had any this year. None lasted overnight.
